    For your consideration is a solid, semi-black (N6) opal from Lightning Ridge, Australia.  This one features slightly bright (2/5) green, yellow, and blue in a mossy pinfire pattern.  The low- domed, oval-cut stone weighs 4.17 carats.  It measures 18mm long by 10mm wide by 3mm deep. Crack-free and clean face-up. There is clay on back. As ever, this is a 100% natural, untreated gemstone.
    PLEASE NOTE: you are looking at enlarged images of a small gemstone. Flaws or blemishes may not be visable to the naked eye!  White lines or spots that do not remain in the same place are reflections from the highly polished surface.
