9 pc Vtg House of Hatten Hand Stitched Baby Quilt Teddy Bears Heart Flowers Set.
The diaper holder in last photo was purchased to coordinate with set, as House of Hatten did not offer one. This one was made by BonJour Bebe, Whittaker, INC.
I could Never have afforded this nursery set when pregnant with 1st child in 1985-6.
This set was sold at the local family-owned “Baby Boutique” of the mid 80’s. It was VERY EXPENSIVE compared to all other choices at the time.
My Mother and Mother in Law surprised me with it! Every piece in the set! Plus a coordinating Diaper Holder which Velcro enables it to hang from changing table or other place. I’d like to sell the set as a whole. But will price out separately as I understand decorating today is very different than it was 35 years ago!
NONE of these pieces were actually used except for decoration!.
I’ve had it all stored away in zippered bags for over 30 years. I never washed it as I was afraid to. It DOES SAY TO MACHINE WASH and ive noticed other similar listings mention “EASY CARE”. Having said that, upon close scrutiny, I noticed slight staining on a couple items (one of the two wall hangings & the tie attached to kick toy). Ive decided to sell this “As Is”. I do know that the Quilt alone originally cost what I am asking for the entire 9 pc set. There are 2 ties to bumper pad that need to be re-attached with a few stitches. The ties are the original ones & not damaged.
