For your consideration is a semi black (N6) opal from Lightning Ridge, Australia. It features bright (3/5) electric blue in a highly directional broadflash pattern. The buff-top, oval-cut stone weighs 2.88 carats. It measures 12mm long by 10mm wide and 3mm high. 100% free of cracks, crazing, or pits; some clay on back. As ever, this is a untreated, ALL-NATURAL gemstone, mined from the earth.
