For your consideration is a solid black (N2) opal from Lightning Ridge, Australia.  It features brilliant (4.8/5) and green and blue in a directional Broadflash pattern with CHAFF!  The
color shows best from an acute angle.  This medium-domed, oval-cut gem weighs 6.1 carats.  It measures 16mm long by 12mm wide by 5mm high. Crack-free and flawless; even the back is clean.  As always, this is an ALL-NATURAL, untreated gemstone.
