    Description

Now reduced 5% more.  Greek Roman Lion head arm bracers or bracer wrist guards are made in 100% leather and 100% iron decorations.  They are used as an armor (armour) to protect the forearm and are unusually 7 1/4 inches long to 7 1/2 inches long and lace up the back with leather as well.  They can come in a variety of ways.  These bracers are not pre-made or kept in stock.  They are 100% hand made and they are only made when they are purchased.  Even in ancient times, the Lion was one of the noblest in the animal kingdom.  It is no coincidence that Hercules, Samson and David show the slaying of a lion as one of their greatest deeds.  Hercules even wore the Nemean lion skin over his body.  Roman Eagle (Aquila) standard bearers also wore the lion skin over their bodies as well as they were the highest ranking standard bearer.  Others did as well but monuments are hard to make out sometimes from the male lion to the lioness or from some big cat leopards.  The white thick belt grade leather used on these bracers is extremely rare as it was a special order made for the US Navy and I purchase some left over half hides several years ago.  This leather was dye white and not painted white which is what one normally has to do to make thick white leather.
