One of the greatest issues with camping is sewage. I converted my camper from a black water system to a composting toilet and capped off the black water tank. It's the best for off grid camping! See the photos.
Our self contained toilets are Veteran built in Shelbyville, Kentucky to be used with Camp toilet bags such as Ozark Trail Bucket liners; Glad Force Flex Kitchen bags with dirt compost medium: sawdust & dried used coffee grounds. For best results, use a mix of all or some of each.
Having a wood shop, I have an endless supply of sawdust. I simply add some cedar pet bedding or cedar cat litter (no clay litter) to the mix and sprinkle enough to cover the waste each time it's used. It only takes approximately a cup of sawdust and only the pleasant smell of cedar is left.
Each unit comes complete with custom toilet cabinet, indexed fitted 5 Gal bucket, two side handles for easy handling and roll holder & lid.
Space inside cabinet can be used for storage of roll holder: bags: toilet paper and even hand sanitizer.
Each unit is made to order, choose your color: Honey Oak or Weathered Barn Wood. Put you color choice in “Message to Seller” at the time of order. Colors may vary slightly from photos & trim patterns may not always be available. If you want a specific trim on the lid, make note in the comments and we will do everything possible to please you.
