This last year I sold a large part of my “GLADIATOR” movie prop collection to the
“British Institute of Roman History”
and several other well know collectors and artist for the coming 20 year celebration release of the epic film “Gladiator” exhibition.
It is to be displayed in both Rome and London with my name being on plaques next to my pieces.
For sale here is the ultimate copy of the movie prop sword used by Maximus (Russell Crow) when he fought Tigris of Gaul in the Coliseum in Rome.  The original which this one is a direct copy of sold for ,000.
This sword was custom made to exacting specifications with 100% accuracy to the original unlike some short lived poor quality replicas that cheated on both attention to detail and accuracy.  This beautiful sword was painstakingly researched and lovingly recreated to produce this stunning replica.
Although the sword is never seen with a scabbard, I will take it up a notch by custom making a one of a kind designed scabbard to go with the sword.  The ones pictured here are not them as I am still doing the art work for it.  It will also be as elaborate and beautiful as the sword is.  The pictures that you see of the scabbard in this sale is only the base model.  All of the metal on it will be finished in faux gold/brass and I will make extra Roman art work to decorate the scabbard.  Although the scabbard will not come with a baldric, I can also make a customized baldric to hold the sword/scabbard over the shoulder.  I can make it extremely beautiful by attaching lots of brass Roman thunderbolts on it, or add lots of brass studs and other Roman designs and gods or leave it just plain leather.  I can also add a belt buckle or leave it without one.   The baldric will not be included and will cost extra as this will be the only way, a person can customized the end look of the baldric to something unique to them.
