    Description

Temporary 25% Halloween and Christmas price reduction from 8 to 8.45 .  Rare Roman legion officer gold embroidered work tunic legatus tribune praetorian.  The clavi or tunic strips also have over one million yellow gold embroidered thread laurel leaves and border as well eagle, wreath and thunderbolt on this fine example.  The eagle and wreath I used came from a picture of a beautiful Roman marble found over a hundred years in the area of the Forum of Trajan.  At the time it got repurposed at the entrance portico in a church in Rome.   I drew it out on paper and added the fulmen (Roman thunderbolt) and then had it digitized for embroidery purposes.  This design screams ROMAN EMPIRE as the original art work was carved in marble at the very zenith of Rome's power under the Emperor Trajan.  Trajan is the only Roman Emperor to sail in the Persian Gulf.
