    any
locomotive. There is a choice between different horn sounds and steam whistles, you can also choose large or small speakers or no speaker.

This is a whistle sound of a steam locomotive. It is designed to be used on any locomotive old new digital decoders or analog either AC or DC.
We also have a different version (slightly smaller and cheaper) which can be used in any modern 21 pin decoder.
    Sound Sample Video:
    Steam Whistle Sound
Marklin 60972, 60982, MLD or MLD3, DCC and ESU newer style. (Aux switch functions 21 pin)
Wire one of the black input leads to pin 16 +UB ( Orange Marklin, Blue ESU). The other black wire goes to either available Aux Port. AUX1 (Pin 15), Aux2 (Pin 14), Aux3 (Pin 13), Aux4(Pin 4), Aux5 (Pin 17)
Marklin 60760 or similar decoders (only one light switch function) most cheap decoders.
These decoders have 2 wires going to the head light. In essence the sound module will just be paralleled with the front light.
Wire one black wire from the sound module to one of each of the wires going to the light.
    DC 2-rail analog operation:
Connect one black wire to the left track feeder, the other to the right track feeder.
    AC 3- rail analog operation:
Connect one black wire to the rail connection Chassis ground. The other black wire goes to the pick up shoe connection (mostly the light bulb socket works well).
Here in essence the Sound module is just connected to the track power directly. The sound will play once the power exceeds 5V and then stops playing until the train stopped for 1+ seconds before playing the sound again.
