Victorian Antique Vintage Childrens Boys Leather lace Up Boots Brass Around Toe

These children’s leather boots are wonderful and RARE!
The side profile is unusual and makes me think they are really early!
They are lace up with leather shoe strings. This is strange but they don’t seem to have tongues.
They have a brass plate around the toes. The right looks as if the leather has separated a bit from the sole.
They have leather soles.
The tops of the boots are tapered.
They do have a slight heel. (Almost 1/2”)
The interior is red and is disintegrating.
These were very sturdy shoes and reinforced for wear in the day. I would not recommend it today!
There are a couple of tears in the leather which I have photographed.
These should not be worn, but displayed with your Victorian or Edwardian collections.
