    Description

    Victorian/Vintage/Antique Child's Black Button-up Wool Leggings/Tall Spats.
    A slightly Mismatched Pair of warm wool leggings or tall spats for a toddler or small child.  (Also possibly Salesmen Samples?)
    The shape, buttons and the bottom elastic are each slightly different from the other!
    One on the right in the main photo has the original price tag on it from "J. Levy & Sons in Canandaigua NY" (near the Finger Lakes in western NY State) of 85 cents!! (Be careful-the staple holding the price tag on is very sharp!) This one is missing one of 12 buttons. The one on the left in the main photo has 10 buttons (all there).
    Both have a paper tag inside with the number 4 (different type faces) on it, maybe the size (?).
    These leggings are in great shape! BTW, I found these in the early 1970's when I lived near Rochester, NY! Truly a unique set of Victorian items!!
